Michael James Jablonski, of Warrenton, passed away on Saturday, March 4. He was born on March 28, 1936 in St. Louis, to the late Alex and Mary Jablonski (nee: Roberts). Michael had reached the age of 86 years.
Michael was united in marriage to Rose Jablonski (nee: Dale) in 1958 and shared 64 wonderful years together. To this union, four children were born, Michael Jr., Cindy, Mark, and Matt.
Michael spent many years as a woodworker, specializing in clocks and dressers. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was very proud of the many hours he spent over the years writing, publishing, and printing the Newsletter for Lakeview Estates. He and his wife, Rose enjoyed their time volunteering at AGAPE over the years as well as the many hours spent around a poker table with friends or playing cards. Most of all, any time he spent with his family is what meant the most to him. Michael was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many.
Those that are grateful for having shared in Michael's life are his children, Michael Jabonski, Jr. (Carolyn LaMar), Cindy Davis ( Gregory), Mark Jablonski (Deirdre), and Matt Jablonski; his grandchildren, Michael William Jablonski, Christopher Jablonski, Nicholas Jablonski, Kevin Davis, Katherine Davis, Brandi Vernon (Bryon), and Elizabeth Gerardo (Jimmie); his 5 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Mary Jablonski, and two brothers, John and Alex Jablonski.
A 10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, March 10, in honor of Michael's life at Holy Rosary Catholic Church followed by a Celebration of Life gathering from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the lower level of the Activity Center of Holy Rosary. Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Diabetes Association in honor of Michael c/o Martin Funeral Home.
