The Liberty Christian Lady Eagles earned another win last week.
Liberty Christian beat Crosspoint Christian 3-0 to win their second game of the week. Liberty Christian scored one goal in the first half and two goals in the second half in their win.
The lone goal of the first half came on Anna Meyer’s penalty shot. The Lady Eagles were awarded a penalty shot after Eagle Ridge Christian was penalized for a hand ball in the penalty box.
The Lady Eagles scored a pair of goals in the second half. Meyer and Lauren Moss each scored a goal in the second half for Liberty Christian.
“Ball movement was key for the game as well as crashing the goal during shots on goal,” Liberty Christian girls soccer coach Ken Dildine said.
The Lady Eagles followed up last week’s win with a 13-0 win over Lighthouse Prep Tuesday.
Liberty Christian will travel to Cape Girardeau Friday for a matchup against Eagle Ridge Christian. Liberty Christian beat Eagle Ridge Christian 6-1 last week.
