Methamphetamine and prescription pills were seized from a vehicle where a man was found asleep while getting gas, according to Wright City police.Edward R. Murphy, 33, of the 26000 block of Lake Point Drive, Warrenton, was charged with two felony counts for drug possession and one misdemeanor count for unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody around 1 p.m. Oct. 14.According to the probable cause statement, police were dispatched to Abel’s Quik Shop to check on the suspect.Upon arrival, the officer observed a prescription pill bottle with no label and found a straw that contained a powder that tested positive for meth, police said.Crime
