Memorial Day services are planned in Warrenton, Wright City and Marthasville this Monday, May 25.
A ceremony will be held beginning at 11 a.m. at the National Guard Armory in Warrenton. Andrew Bailey, Warren County assistant prosecuting attorney, will be the keynote speaker.
The American Legion Post 180 in Marthasville will be having its annual service also at 11 a.m. Wendell Webb will be the guest speaker. A carry-in lunch and flag-burning ceremony will follow the service.
In Wright City, the Avenue of Flags will hold a memorial and flag dedication service at the city cemetery starting at 1:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be moved indoors at the Immanuel United Church of Christ fellowship hall.
