Why are you running and why should people vote for you?
I am running for Alderman (Alderwoman) because I care deeply about our community and the people who call Truesdale home. I see the opportunities we have to grow, improve, and strengthen our city, and I believe leadership should be accessible, transparent, and focused on serving everyone, not just a select few. I am stepping forward because I want to be a voice for families, small businesses, and residents who want practical solutions, responsible decision‑making, and a city government that truly listens.
What are your goals if elected?
My goals for this campaign are to strengthen communication between city leadership and the residents of Truesdale, support responsible use of taxpayer dollars, and help create a community where families and small businesses can thrive. I want to ensure that decisions are made with transparency, common‑sense planning, and a clear understanding of how they impact the people who live and work here. Above all, my goal is to bring a steady, approachable, and solutions‑focused voice to the Board of Aldermen and Alderwoman, one that listens to residents and works hard to move our city forward.
What issues are most pressing for your constituency?
The most pressing issue for our community includes responsible growth, transparent communication, and ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in city decisions. People want confidence that their tax dollars are being used wisely and that development is planned with long‑term stability in mind. Many families and small businesses are also focused on maintaining safe neighborhoods, supporting local commerce, and preserving the character of our community as we continue to grow. My goal is to address these priorities with common‑sense planning, open dialogue, and a commitment to serving the entire city.
