Why are you running and why should people vote for you?
I’m running because the people who build, serve, and sustain Warrenton deserve to be safe and heard. As development comes to our town, I want decisions made clearly and in the open, with workers and citizens in the room. My goal is responsible growth that protects our community and includes everyone.
What are your goals if elected?
My goals are to bring more people into the civic process, increase transparency in how decisions are made, and make sure growth is responsible and community-led. I want residents and workers to have clear information early, real opportunities to weigh in, and development policies that protect public safety, infrastructure, and our rural way of life.
What issues are most pressing for your constituency?
The most pressing needs I hear are from families and working people who are stretched thin trying to care for their own due to keeping up with basic life while still showing up for kids, elders, and neighbors, let alone a city meeting. An alderwoman can’t personally pay someone’s heat bill or housing cost, but we can lead in a way that reduces the burden on individual households by protecting core services, making sure growth doesn’t strain our systems, and strengthening community supports so people aren’t left to carry everything alone.
