Marthasville Community Ambulance District and K&R Market are collecting non-perishable food items in the month of May to donate to the food pantry at Charette Baptist Church.
The “Maysgiving” collection is taking place every Saturday in May from noon to 4 p.m. at K&R Market in Marthasville.
The ambulance district is especially focused on providing meals for children over the summer while they’re out of school, as well as donating sides for other meals. All of the items collected will be donated at the end of the month.
