Justin Jennings piloted the MB Motorsports’ No. 63 truck to a 16th-place finish at Kansas Speedway on Friday night. The finish tied for the Foristell-based team’s best finish of the year. He completed 154 laps in the 167-lapped race at the 1.5-mile track.Jennings also placed 16th at the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona on Feb. 21.At Kansas, Jennings qualified in 26th, after wrecking his primary truck during Thursday’s final practice session.Jennings, of LaGrange, Mo., was admitted to KU Medical Center following the race for observation of high carbon monoxide levels but was released soon after, according to a report. The higher carbon monoxide levels were a result of damaged crush panels on a lap 1 incident, but numerous cautions throughout the race allowed fresh air to enter the cockpit. A long green flag run at the end of the race allowed the fumes to be more prevalent.Through three races this season, Jennings currently sits in 11th in the driver’s standings with 75 points, just 12 points out of the top 10.MB Motorsports is scheduled to return to the track on Friday at Charlotte Motor Speedway.MB MOTORSPORTS TRUCKDerrick Forsythe Photo.
