A woman from Maryland is being held in the Warren County Jail after the Missouri State Highway Patrol said she was caught transporting drugs on Interstate 70.Sara B. Eyler, 31, of Hagerstown, Md., was arrested Dec. 21 and charged with delivery of a controlled substance. An arrest report states Eyler was transporting a package containing about 300 grams of what was believed to be K2, a drug often called “synthetic marijuana.”Eyler was traveling eastbound through Warren County when a patrol trooper observed her vehicle swerve onto the shoulder of I-70 twice, the report states. Eyler was the only person in the vehicle. While interacting with the trooper, Eyler reportedly displayed irregular breathing and trembling hands, and avoided eye contact. She was asked to exit the vehicle, and allegedly said there was nothing illegal in the car. She consented to a search of the vehicle, the patrol report said. The trooper observed plastic jars containing what he believed was K2. He showed them to Eyler, at which point she allegedly confirmed it was K2 and said she was taking the drugs to someone in Maryland. The patrol alleges that Eyler further stated she was transporting the drugs as repayment for a person who had taken clothing to her boyfriend in prison. The patrol said she provided her cellphone, which contained a series of texts about the request from a person identified as “G.”Eyler is being held at the Warren County Jail in lieu of paying a $10,000 bond. She has an arraignment scheduled for Jan. 9 in Warren County Circuit Court.
