Martha Jaillet

Mary Martha Jaillet passed away on March 23, 2022, at the age of 76. She was born January 2, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Guy and Juanita Gattis nee Pollock.
 
She is survived by her beloved husband, Wallace Jaillet, of Warrenton; two sons, Sean (Sarah) Jaillet of Warrenton and Lee (Suzanne) Jaillet of O'Fallon, Illinois; two daughters, Wendy (Pat) Bernard of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Cindy (Scott) Sharp of St. Albans, West Virginia; a brother, Guy (Marjorie) Gattis of Ann Arbor, Michigan; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Brown. 
 
Martha married her beloved husband on June 2, 1977, and they celebrated 44 years of marriage. Martha was a college educator and taught in Iowa, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arizona, and also at St. Charles Community College. In Martha's spare time, she enjoyed crafting, painting, and knitting. She was a member of College United Methodist Church and the Warrenton Artisan Guild. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
 
A visitation for Martha will be held Wednesday, March 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will directly follow, also at the funeral home.
