Mrs. Mary Ann Spalding of Warrenton passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was born January 31, 1942, in St. Louis to the late Leo and Anna H. (Nee: Hermann) Scott. She had reached the age of 80 years old.
Mary married August Spalding on April 7, 2005, in St Charles. She worked in retail most of her life, and in her free time, she enjoyed working in her garden, tending to her flowers. She was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her friends in the bowling alley. Mary would also read a wide variety of books.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Anna; daughter, Christina Nowak; siblings, Leo Scott, Leonard Scott, Donald Scott, James Scott, Norbert Scott, and Lewis Scott. She is survived by her loving husband, August; daughters, Debora Orf and Ann Spalding; grandchildren, Miles House, Emory House, Sarah Craig; a great-granddaughter; many other friends and family.
We will Celebrate the Life of Mary Ann Spalding, Sunday, April 24, 2022, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. No services will be held.
