A Marthasville woman suffered serious injuries in a 4-car accident Thursday.Sarah J. Peper, 39, of Marthasville, was listed in serious condition after her vehicle was struck by a dump truck driven by Adam Hasenjaeger, 21, of Marthasville at 8:12 a.m. on Highway DD, a quarter of a mile north of Highway 94.According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Hasenjaeger was traveling too fast for conditions southbound on DD and passed a dump truck driven by Thomas C. Medler, 58, of Wentzville, which was stopped to make a left turn. Peper's 2002 Ford Escape then struck Hasenjaeger's truck head on, causing Hasenjaeger's dump truck to to travel off the roadway and strike a fourth vehicle. The driver of the fourth vehicle left the scene before police arrived.Peper was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur where she was listed in serious condition.For more on this story see next Thursday's Record newspaper.Driver injured
