A Warren County teen was injured Tuesday, Dec. 6, when the car she was driving was struck by a deer.The Missouri Highway Patrol said Angela N. Briggs, 16, Marthasville, was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am southbound on Highway D when she slowed to avoid a deer.At that point, a second deer slammed into the right side of her car, causing her to lose control, the patrol said. The car ran off the left side of the road, struck some trees and a ditch, according to the preliminary patrol report.Briggs, who was not wearing a safety belt, was taken by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital Washington for treatment of apparent minor injuries.The 6:35 p.m. crash happened south of Wolf Creek Road.Accident
