On April 26, Benny Kelley of Marthasville, attended the Annual Truck Rodeo hosted by Farmer Holding Company, Inc. The Truck Rodeo is a competition that highlights the skills, safety and professionalism of commercial ready-mix drivers.
All participants are tested on their ability to navigate tight spaces, perform precision maneuvers and to follow safety protocols. This is a fun and educational event that promotes safe driving and for drivers to celebrate their hard work.
Benny secured an impressive second-place finish out of more than 30 drivers’ company-wide. He will now go on to represent Farmer Holding Company, Inc., and Franklin County Concrete (East Ready-Mix Division) in the National Ready Mix Concrete Association’s Mixer Driver Championship in Orlando, Fla., in October. Benny’s family is extremely proud of him for this accomplishment and wish him good luck as he competes on the national stage.
