A Marthasville man was arrested Saturday, Dec. 19, for allegedly punching and striking his girlfriend, according to police.Joshua L. Meyer, 29, was charged Sunday with second-degree domestic assault. He is being held on a $10,000 bond. The alleged incident occurred in Meyer’s home in the 800 block of Grand Street in Marthasville.The female victim told Warren County deputies Meyer pinned her against the wall and choked her. He also punched her in the face and on the side of the head during the alleged altercation, according to the probable cause statement.The deputy reported the woman had a swollen right eye, claw marks on the right side of her neck and other bruise marks.Joshua Meyer
