One person was killed and another injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash on Veterans Memorial Parkway.Gabriel C. Parker, 22, Marthasville, died from injuries sustained in the March 7 crash, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.A preliminary crash report states Parker was a passenger in a Chevrolet Cavalier that drove off the right side of eastbound Interstate 70 east of Wright City. The Cavalier crossed the grass median and struck the front of a Nissan Frontier traveling in the opposite direction, the patrol said. The crash happened at 7 p.m.Parker was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis. He died of his injuries just before midnight, according to the patrol report.The driver of the Chevrolet, Trevor R. Hoard, 18, Wright City, did not have reported injuries. The driver of the Nissan, Robert D. Hedges, 76, Wright City, had minor injuries and was taken to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis.The highway patrol said all three people were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.Crash
