A 38-year-old Marthasville man is facing multiple charges related to an incident Oct. 24 where he allegedly threw three boys down a hill, causing one to break their arm in the process.John E. Struckhoff, of the 16000 block of Concord Hill Road, Marthasville, is charged with one felony count for first-degree endangering the welfare of a child and two misdemeanor counts for second-degree child endangerment. He was taken into custody Oct. 25 and released from jail after posting bond.The alleged incident occurred around 10 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Lake Sherwood campground. According to a probable cause statement, Struckhoff scared the boys while they were gathering wood. After a verbal exchange, Struckhoff allegedly threw the boys down a hill.When a deputy made contact with Struckhoff, he stated he was trying to scare the boys and might have made slight contact with them causing them to fall, according to the probable cause statement.Charges
