Marthasville, Innsbrook residents file for elections

With only a couple weeks to go before the end of candidate filing, three people have registered to appear on ballots for three separate elections in Warren County.

Candidate filing is open until Jan. 21 for elections to various city governments, school board and emergency district boards. Elections will take place April 7.

Current Marthasville Alderman Nick Lange is the first person to file for board of aldermen elections in Marthasville. One board of aldermen seat in each of the city’s two wards is up for election.

Lange’s fellow incumbent, Gene Jenkins, had not registered for the ballot as of Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Also in the Marthasville area, Alice Kluesner has filed for Marthasville Community Ambulance District Board of Directors elections. Two seats on the board will be on the ballot.

In the village of Innsbrook, former board of trustees member Jerry Rust was the first candidate to register. Two seats on the board are being elected this year.

Up for election

Below are the local offices that will be elected in April. Candidate filing is open until Jan. 21.

Warrenton Board of Aldermen — Three seats on the Warrenton Board of Aldermen will be elected, one in each of the city’s three wards.

Warren County R-III School Board — Four seats on school board will be on the ballot. One seat is for a short term to finish the term of the late Allan Dreyer.

Warren County Ambulance Board — The ambulance district for northern Warren County has two board of director seats up for election.

Warren County Emergency Services Board — Four board directors for the county’s 911 dispatch center will be elected.

Wright City Board of Aldermen and Mayor — The offices of mayor and two aldermen (one in each city ward), are up for election.

Wright City R-II School Board — Three school board members will be elected in April.

Wright City Fire Board — One position on the board of directors for Wright City Fire will be up for election.

Marthasville Board of Aldermen — Two aldermen will be elected in April, representing the city’s eastern and western wards.

Marthasville Ambulance Board — Two positions on the ambulance district’s board of directors will be on the ballot.

Marthasville Fire Board — One seat is available on the fire district’s board of directors.

Truesdale Board of Aldermen — Two aldermen will be elected to the Truesdale board.

Innsbrook Board of Trustees — Two positions on the village’s board of trustees will be on the ballot.
