The Marthasville Fire Protection District recently received an American Rescue Plan grant for $75,000 through Warren County.
The grant was used to purchase a Ford F250, 4WD, four-door pickup truck with a snow plow.
The truck was purchased at Lou Fusz in Chesterfield. It includes a seven-foot, six-inch blade designed for driveways and accessibility to emergency incident scenes. Firefighters will receive training from Trei Irwin’s Lawn Services.
