The Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 21st annual golf tournament on Saturday, June 27, at the Warrenton Golf Course.The tournament is a three-person scramble with three flights of golfers. It is limited to 50 teams. The entry fee is $85 per person, which includes a breakfast of sausage and egg sandwiches as well as a chicken dinner, refreshments, and attendance prizes.The tournament will begin with breakfast at 6:30 a.m. The tee-off time is set for 7 a.m.There will also be up to $1,575 worth of cash prizes to be given away. All par-3 holes will feature a hole-in-one prize. There will also be a chance to win a two-year lease on a new 2015 Ford Escape courtesy of Chris Auffenberg Ford in Washington. Other par-3 prizes include $5,000 cash, a $500 Visa gift card, a Kindle Fire, and Cleveland Gold Equipment, all courtesy of Heritage Community Bank in Marthasville.Proceeds from this tournament will go toward the Chamber’s scholarship fund and community development projects as well as general revenue.To enter, please call Dave Peters at 636-932-4875 or Al Hasenjaeger at 636-433-2608.
