The Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce will award its college scholarship again this year to a high school senior of the Class of 2019.Since the inception of the scholarship program in 1998, the Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded $33,000 to area high school students.A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an area high school senior meeting the eligibility requirements.To be eligible for consideration, high school seniors must be in good standing with their high school and live within the 63357 or 63342 ZIP code area of southern Warren County.In addition, this scholarship is open to high school seniors of employees of Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce member businesses, regardless of home address, provided the employee has been employed by the Chamber member for at least two years.Complete details are included in the application packet.The Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee will evaluate applications based on the well-roundedness of each applicant with emphasis placed on civic leadership and involvement in activities that better the community.Application packets are available through the guidance offices at Wright City High School, Warrenton High School, Washington High School and St. Francis Borgia Regional High School.The packets also may be downloaded from http://www.marthasvillemochamber.org under the Community tab.Completed applications are to be returned to Marthasville Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Committee and must be postmarked by 4 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2019.Scholarships
