Mr. Marvin John Schwoeppe of Marthasville, MO, passed away peacefully with family by his side, Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born October 18, 1929 in Dutzow, MO, to Anthony and Regina (Nee: Eichholz) Schwoeppe. He had reached the age of 91 years.
Marvin married the love of his life, Louise Mary Ruether, April 8, 1951 in Dutzow, MO. They were married for 69 wonderful years before her passing July 4, 2020. This union was blessed with 7 children. Marvin and Louise were active members of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church for many years. He was born and raised and lived his entire life in southern Warren County. He was a farmer that loved working on his property. He also worked for the Marthasville fire department for 16 years. What he loved more than anything else was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marvin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Louise; parents, Anthony and Regina. He is survived by his 7 children, James Schwoeppe of Steedman, Allan Schwoeppe (Teresa) of Marthasville, Linda Schwoeppe of Marthasville, Dennis Schwoeppe (Linda) of Krakow, Steven Schwoeppe of Marthasville, Donald Schwoeppe (Constance) of Marthasville, Joanne Kozemski (Mike) of Krakow; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Schwoeppe, Darlene Brinkmann, Wilma Glastetter,Mary Ellen Schweissguth, Roland Schwoeppe, Leanne Moellering; many other friends and family.
We will Celebrate the Life of Marvin John Schwoeppe, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Marthasville, MO. Funeral Mass will be held the following day, October 13, 2021 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 10:00 AM, in Dutzow, MO. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
