One person was hurt in a crash on Highway U Wednesday after the Jeep he was driving hit a tree, authorities said.Timothy J. Miller, 32, of Lake St. Louis, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis after the 2002 Jeep Wrangler he was driving crashed around 4:45 p.m. Oct. 10, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. A preliminary report states Miller was driving southbound in the area of Sunnyside Road when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a tree.Miller reportedly suffered moderate injuries in the crash, which did extensive damage to the jeep.
