A man with several charges of possessing child pornography pleaded guilty last week and was sentenced to 24 years in prison.Rory J. Schneck, 24, Warrenton, was arrested in December 2017 after police found 200 images and videos of child pornography stored in his computer and digital accounts.Schneck pleaded guilty July 23 in Warren County Circuit Court to the six charges of possessing child porn. Presiding Judge Wes Dalton sentenced him to 12 years in prison for the first three charges and another 12 years for the second three charges. Schneck will receive credit for the eight months he spent in jail awaiting trial.Investigators first received information on the case in November through a tip line run by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to a police report. Google Inc. reported that videos of child pornography had been uploaded to an account that allegedly belongs to Schneck.Google provided 13 videos to investigators, which all showed children who appeared to be under the age of 12 engaging in sexual behavior, police said.Investigators tracked the account to a business where Schneck had been employed. Another tip from the online storage service Dropbox indicated a computer at Schneck’s residence had uploaded more than 180 images or videos of child pornography.Police searched Schneck’s residence on Sunrise Drive Dec. 19, 2017, and found a laptop with child pornography on it.
