A Bellflower, Mo. Man was charged with stealing a motor vehicle following an incident on June 27.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed by the Wright City Police Department, officers were dispatched regarding a stolen vehicle. Witnesses told officers that an unknown individual was driving a company vehicle around the property and then sped past them through the unlocked gate of the business.
Eventually officers were able to detain the passenger of the vehicle after locating it using GPS. The passenger identified Justin Webb of Bellflower, Mo. as the driver of the vehicle, according to the affidavit.
An officer later reviewed video surveillance at the business which showed Webb arrive at approximately 2:30 a.m. June 27 and tamper with nine vehicles, two of which sustained significant damage including shattered windows and cut electrical wire. Video surveillance also showed Webb exiting the stolen vehicle at one point.
A no bond warrant was issued for Webb’s arrest Oct. 31.
