Record Managing EditorA 53-year-old Warrenton man is accused of kissing and making sexual advances on an 11-year-old girl, authorities said.Thomas A. Skillington, of Hawthorn Villas Drive, was charged Monday with attempted enticement of a child, a felony. A $100,000 bond has been set. He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Aug. 12.The alleged incident occurred in Skillington’s apartment on May 5.According to the probable cause statement, Skillington had befriended the girl in the past and asked her to clean his apartment in exchange for $25. When the girl was done, she was seated next to Skillington. It was then, police said, Skillington began kissing the girl.Soon after, the girl left the residence and told a neighbor about the inappropriate contact. A second neighbor also confronted Skillington. When police interviewed Skillington, he admitted to kissing the girl, according to the probable cause statement.Thomas A. Skillington
