A 34-year-old man was arrested Thursday for allegedly making methamphetamine behind a bush in Truesdale, police said. The suspect, identified as Ricky W. Maass Jr., of Montgomery City, was located hiding in bush near Smith Street. Officers with the East Central Missouri Drug Task Force and Warren County Sheriff’s Department were involved in the investigation.Maass was charged with two felony charges for distribution and possession of a controlled substance. He remains in jail on a $35,000 bond.According to the probable cause statement, a black bag containing personal hygiene items and products commonly associated with making meth was located next to Maass. Also located in the bag was a Mason jar containing a pink liquid that was identified as a “one-pot” lab and multiple bags that tested positive for the presence of meth, police reported.Man caught making meth behind bush
