A Warren County man is in jail facing a felony charge after police tracked child pornography to his computer.Gayle R. Harrelston III, 34, was arrested Jan. 19 and is charged with Class B felony possession of child pornography. He is being held in lieu of a $25,000 bond, and an arraignment was scheduled for Jan. 24 at the Warren County Circuit Court.Harrelston is suspected of possessing at least three videos and five images depicting young children engaged in sexual activity, according to a Warrenton police report.Police learned of the illicit files in Harrelston’s possession using a specialized computer program. An investigative computer accessed an internet-based file sharing program and searched for users uploading suspected child pornography, according to police.Identifying information for the computer uploading the files was submitted to CenturyLink and produced an account address on Deerfield Lane in Warrenton. A search of that address revealed a cellphone in Harrelston’s bedroom that had at least one video of child pornography on it, according to police.
