A Warren County man is in jail after allegedly biting, punching and choking a woman at a residence south of Wright City.
Randall B. Hutter Jr., 41, is charged with third-degree domestic assault, a Class E felony. He is being held at the Warren County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Warren County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Point Maple Drive, off of Highway F, in response to a domestic disturbance at 2:14 p.m. Dec. 12. According to the sheriff’s department, Hutter and a female at the residence were in an argument that led to violence.
Hutter allegedly grabbed the victim’s head and bit her nose, leaving what authorities described as a “puncture wound.” Hutter allegedly punched the victim, took her to the ground and began to choke her.
A deputy observed hand-shaped red marks on the victim’s neck.
Hutter has an arraignment scheduled for Jan. 10 at the Warren County Circuit Courthouse.
