A 54-year-old Wright City man is accused of touching a six-year-old girl inappropriately and is facing criminal charges.The suspect, identified as Eugene Haggard, of the 12000 block of Mistic Drive, was charged with statutory sodomy. An arrest warrant was issued April 23. A $100,000 cash-only bond has been set.The Warren County Sheriff’s Department began an investigation into the allegations April 20, according to a probable cause statement. The female victim told authorities that Haggard had touched her inappropriately while she was at his home between 10 p.m. April 19 and 1 p.m. April 20.When a detective interviewed Haggard, he allegedly admitted that the allegations were true, according to a probable cause statement.Sex crime allegations
