Mrs. Malena Idell Owens, of Warrenton, passed away on Friday, October 24, with her family by her side. She was born on May 17, 1940 in New Florence, to the late Wesley and Floy Johnson.
Malena Owens was preceded in death by her husband Edward; her parents; one son, Mike Garrett; two sisters, and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Debby Turner; one daughter-in-law; seven grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation for Malena Owens will be held on Thursday, October 30, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Warrenton from 10 A.M. - 12 P.M. Funeral services will begin at 12 P.M, with a committal service immediately following at the Jonesburg City Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to St. John's Lutheran Church.
