A Warren County woman with a number of ongoing drug charges against her was arrested again last week in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine.Amie E. McMullen, 43, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance after authorities say 53 grams of methamphetamine were found in her vehicle, along with multiple clear plastic baggies and a digital scale.McMullen, who resides just outside Warrenton, has multiple previous drug possession and drug paraphernalia charges that are yet to be resolved in the Warren County Circuit Court. In this latest arrest, sheriff’s deputies were called to Dry Fork Road to check on a woman near a black vehicle picking flowers along the roadway, according to authorities. A matching vehicle reportedly sped up after it passed a patrol car responding to the area.A second deputy stopped the vehicle while it was traveling north and found McMullen as the sole occupant. McMullen had an active warrant for her arrest when she was stopped.During a search of her vehicle, authorities located multiple clear plastic baggies containing a substance that tested positive as methamphetamine, police said. Also located were a number of other empty baggies, along with a digital scale, which are commonly used in the distribution of illegal drugs, according to authorities. In seeking a charge against McMullen, the arresting deputies also asserted that the 53 grams of methamphetamine found in her vehicle was more than someone would have for personal use. After being taken to the jail Aug. 14, McMullen posted a $10,000 surety bond to be released on the same day, according to online court records.Court records show that about three weeks earlier, McMullen had been arrested and charged with felony drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was out of jail on a $5,000 bond when she was arrested, according to court records. She also has existing charges for alleged crimes in December 2015, some of which were allegedly committed under the name Amie Drey. Those charges include distribution or manufacture of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.McMullen has an arraignment scheduled for Aug. 29, and hearings Sept. 5 and Sept. 27 for the various charges against her, all at the Warren County Circuit Court.
