These individuals were charged with crimes by the Warren County Prosecuting Attorney’s office. All court dates are at the Warren County Courthouse unless otherwise noted. Hunt, 55, Marthasville, is charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, as well as misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. While executing a search warrant at Hunt’s home at the 18000 block of Starlight Lane, police reportedly located methamphetamine and 297 grams (about 10 ounces) of marijuana. Hunt allegedly admitted to selling marijuana. He is in custody on a $15,000 bond and had an arraignment was set for April 12.• Martin J. Ritter, 56, St. Clair, is charged with fraudulently attempting to obtain controlled substance. Ritter allegedly tried to use a prescription that had been written over to obtain a bottle of Tramadol, a narcotic pain medication, from the Crider Center pharmacy in May 2016.• Guy R. Fehr Jr., 35, Wright City, is charged with second-degree domestic assault, a felony. A female victim accused Fehr of assaulting her at a residence at the 18000 block of St. Gerard Avenue near Warrenton in November. She stated Fehr had punched her face, choked her and kicked her, and would not let her leave the residence. A sheriff’s deputy reported the victim’s eye and face were beginning to swell and she had bruising on her neck.• Saul A. Garcia, 25, O’Fallon, is charged with felony forgery. Garcia was arrested March 24 for an unspecified cause, during which he reportedly gave police a false name and was later released. Six days later, Wright City police found Garcia at the 110 block of West First Street North, and arrested him for signing a false name on his citation. Garcia said he used a false name to avoid immigration authorities, police said. He is in jail on a $5,000 bond and an arraignment was set for April 12.• Sonja L. Bailey, 38, Poplar Bluff, is charged with felony forgery. Bailey allegedly stole checks from a residence in Warrenton Villa in December. Bailey reportedly signed checks in the victim’s name, allegedly using one to draw funds at The Missouri Bank and two more to make purchases at Wal-Mart in Warrenton. The total reported loss was $463.95.• Brelynn S. Britton, 31, Wright City, is charged with receiving stolen property, a felony. Britton allegedly admitted to being present during several thefts for which Patrick R. Wilburn, 25, O’Fallon, previously was charged with receiving stolen property. Britton allegedly told police he drove Wilburn to several businesses to sell stolen property worth about $774.Compiled by Adam Rollins.Crime
