• Donnetta Maxine Burnette, 49, of Wright City, was charged with second-degree assault.Police said in a report that they responded to a disturbance at Brookview apartments in Wright City Nov. 26. The victim told police that Burnette assaulted her after making a racial slur against the victim’s boyfriend.The victim asked Burnette to leave, but she refused and Burnette became physical. The report said she struck the victim multiple times with a closed fist to the head and face. The victim requested prosecution and provided a hospital report stating her injuries.Burnette told officers that she was in the altercation and said she had anger issues.A warrant was issued for Burnette’s arrest with a $10,000 bond. She was expected to return to court Jan. 11. • Kaylie M. Penachio, 25, of Eldon, Mo., was charged with felony possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.Police discovered Penachio when she and a few others were in and walking around a car that was parked and blocking a lane of Highway B near Veterans Memorial Parkway. A search of the car led to the officer finding drug paraphernalia and suspicious substances, all of which Penachio said was hers, the police report said.The report said the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Lab later confirmed the presence of methamphetamine, tetrahydrocannabinol (or THC, the chemical found in marijuana) and heroin.A warrant was issued for Penachio’s arrest with a $10,000 bond. She was expected to return to court Jan. 11. • Jackie L. Darien, 45, of Warrenton, was charged with two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance.Darien is in custody and was scheduled to return to court Jan. 11.Darien was pulled over for speeding on Highway 47 near the Interstate 70 interchange on March 29, the police report said. She had a warrant from Lincoln County, so the officer placed her under arrest. During the stop, the officer found two pills in her purse, which the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crime Laboratory later identified as hydrocodone, a schedule 3 prepared substance, and clonazepam, a schedule 4 prepared substance.• Shaun M. Goss, 32, of Wright City, was charged with domestic assault in the second degree, prior domestic assault offender.His bond was set at $10,000 and he is to have no contact with the victim.Police said they were called to the 28000 block of Orchard Farm Circle, where the victim said she and her boyfriend, Goss, got into an argument about bills.The argument escalated and turned physical, the police report said.Police said a witness heard the victim scream, “Ouch, please don’t, and help.”The report said the victim had a swollen hand and bruises. Goss told police no physical altercation took place then later said he was hit in the mouth by the victim. Goss told police he never hit the victim.Goss is on probation and parole for domestic assault in the third degree Jan. 5, 2015 from Wright City Police with the same victim.He was scheduled to return to court Jan. 11.• Ryan T. Cunningham, 32, of Warrenton, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon.The police report states on May 9, two officers responded to a call regarding a man shooting at a car near Cannonball Lane and Highway 47. Officers located Ryan Cunningham, by the description of his car. Cunningham told police he had been in a road rage incident. He thought the car involved was following him, so he stopped his car and exited it with his gun. When the other driver stopped and stepped out of his car, Cunningham fired shots.The other driver and a witness reported similar stories, police reported.Cunningham received a warrant for his arrest and $10,000 bond. He was scheduled to return to court Jan. 11.• Darryl M. Biggs, 51, of Foristell, was charged with unlawful use of a firearm. Biggs was stopped by police on private property with two other individuals. Biggs told the officer he had marijuana on him and a further search revealed he was carrying a handgun inside his vest pocket. Biggs has a felony conviction from 2007. A warrant was issued for Biggs’ arrest and his bond was set at $10,000. He was scheduled to return to court Jan. 11. • April R. Shafer, 30, of Wright City, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. The police report said Shafer was found kneeling on the edge of Highway 47 near Warrior Ridge Avenue May 13. Police said she appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Upon further investigation, they found her in possession of alprazolam, a schedule 4 controlled substance.A warrant was issued for Shafer’s arrest and her bond was set at $10,000. She is expected to return to court Jan. 11.• Carla J. Beaver, 40, of Washington was charged with six counts of forgery after signing and cashing six checks at S&R Convenience Store in Marthasville. Her bond was set at $30,000 cash only. She was scheduled to return to court Jan. 11.• Laura Libbert, 35, of Lake St. Louis was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.Officers found Libbert breathing but unresponsive in a bathroom stall inside WalMart. In the stall, officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia. A field test showed the presence of heroin, the police report said.Libert’s bond was set at $10,000.• Michael John Riddell, 44 of O’Fallon and Heather Nicole Nuncio, 33, of Wentzville, were pulled over by Foristell police for speeding and then received multiple charges.Riddell was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, speeding, and driving while suspended.Nuncio was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.Foristell police pulled them over for speeding and during the traffic stop learned that Riddell was driving on a suspended license. He was placed under arrest. Upon further search of the car, police found drug paraphernalia with drug residue, the police report said. Police then discovered Nuncio, a passenger in the car, had an arrest warrant issued by the Wentzville Police Department. She was then placed under arrest. A search of her purse revealed drug paraphernalia and residue.Residue from their belongings field tested positive for methamphetamine, police said. Crime notes
