A Wright City man has been sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison for sexually abusing children at different times over the last decade.

Ralph V. Gilcrease, 51, was sentenced Tuesday by St. Louis County Circuit Judge Michael Jamison, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Gilcrease was found guilty in a Nov. 2 jury trial of four charges of statutory sodomy, enticement of a child less than 15 years old, and three charges of child molestation.

A life sentence in Missouri is 30 years. The judge ordered Gilcrease’s prison terms to be served consecutively.

Gilcrease sexually abused three children between 2007 and 2015, prosecutors said.

He was already registered as a sex offender because of two 1996 convictions for indecent assault in Fort Benning, Ga. Gilcrease was last registered at an address in Wright City in August 2015, before he was incarcerated, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
