Residents living in and around Wright City can learn about their risk for cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis, diabetes, and other chronic, serious conditions with screenings by Life Line Screening.The Wright City Lions Club will host the event Wednesday, June 1.The site is located at 678 Westwoods Road in Wright City.Screenings can check for the level of plaque buildup in your arteries, related to risk for heart disease, stroke and overall vascular health.The tests also can check HDL, LDL cholesterol levels, diabetes risk, bone density as a risk for possible osteoporosis, and kidney and thyroid function.Screenings are accessible for those in wheelchairs and who have trouble walking.Free parking also is available.Call 1-877-237-1287 or visit the website at www.lifelinescreening.com to register.
