Scenic Regional Library Wright City is seeking donations for its spring book sale. The library is one of a few in the Scenic Regional Library chain that hopes to hold the sale in May, but doesn’t have enough inventory yet. Gently used books, DVDs, music CDs, and books on CD are needed. The sales include a combination of donated items as well as titles removed from the library’s collection due to poor usage or condition. The Wright City, New Haven, Owensville, and St. Clair branches have the greatest need for donations at this time. All proceeds from the book sales go to each branch’s local Friends of the Library group, which uses the funds to support their branch. People who are interested in donating items to the library for the sale can drop them off at their local branch.
