To The Editor: High praise for State Rep. Bart Korman, 42nd District, for his support of Missouri labor unions and his vote against Right to Work, Senate Bill 19. Rep. Korman stated in his Feb. 3 Capital report, “My hope is that labor organizations can adjust their operations to minimize freeloaders.” Unfortunately, our newly elected governor does not support these same values. If he did, he would have signed the bill in front of the Machinists Hall or GM Assembly Plant. Right to Work and prevailing wage legislation have no home in our state of Missouri.Hopefully, the elected representatives perform their due diligence in supporting the constituents in their districts. Let the voters of Missouri decide.Scott Hargis,Warrenton
