Mrs. Leonor Young (nee: Rodriguez), of Warrenton, passed away on Sunday, November 3, at the age of 85 years. She was born on June 28, 1939, in Kingsville, TX to the late Tomas and Carolina (nee:Robles) Rodriguez.
Leonor enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Angelina. They had a very special bond. She loved going fishing and working in her garden, tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. She loved her family and enjoyed traveling back to Texas as often as she could to visit. Leonor was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to many.
Leonor was preceded death by her parents, Tomas and Carolina; two children, Bobby Parks and Carolyn Parks; one brother Raul Rodriquez. She is survived by one son, John Parks; several grandchildren; special friend Mackey Young; other friends and relatives.
A visitation for Leonor Young will be held on Thursday, November 7, from 9:30 A.M. - 11:30 A.M. at Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton. Funeral services will also be on Thursday, November 7, beginning at 11:30 A.M. A burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to the American Cancer Society c/o Martin Funeral Home.
