American Legion Daniel Boone Post 180 will observe Veterans Day at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11.The public is invited to the program, which will be held at the post’s hall on Highway 47, north of Marthasville.The guest speaker will be state Sen. Jeanie Riddle (R-10th). The service will include the national anthem and Pledge of Allegiance, comments by the post commander, recognition of deceased veterans and military honors with taps.After the service, guests will be offered a carry-in meal with meat and drinks provided. At 1 p.m., there will be a meat shoot.Veteran's Day
