The Warren County Historical Society and Museum is hosting a lecture about Native Americans and archaeology of Missouri at 7 p.m. July 20 at the museum, 102 W. Walton in Warrenton.Jim Duncan is presenting on behalf of the Show-Me Missouri Speakers. He is the former director of the Missouri State Museum and former information officer for the Missouri Department of Conservation.Duncan will talk about Missouri’s archaeological resources and show samples of Native American artifacts found in the state. He will discuss their significance and what they reveal about Missouri’s Native American populations.Events are open to the public.
