The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is planning lane closures on Highway 47 Aug. 12 and Aug. 13 to do pavement repairs. Two other state roads in Warren County are also scheduled for repair next week.

Traffic on Highway 47 will be reduced to one lane from Mathasville to Augusta Bottom Road on Monday, Aug. 12. Then on Tuesday, pavement repairs between Marthasville and Warrenton will drop traffic down to one lane.

MoDOT crews will be on Highway B for pavement repairs on Aug. 14, with traffic reduced to one lane. The repairs will be from Interstate 70 to Highway 94.

On Aug. 15, Highway EE will be down to one lane while crews do work between Highway B and the end of the pavement on Highway EE.

All work is scheduled to be done between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. The work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled or delayed. Drivers are advised to use caution while traveling through these areas, always obey all work zone signs, and put down cell phones to help eliminate distractions.

For more information, contact MoDOT's Customer Service Center toll-free at 1-888-ASK MoDOT (275-6636). All roadwork is posted on MoDOT's online traveler information map, with more information at www.modot.org/northeast.Road work signbelterz
