Weather permitting, the left lane of Veterans Memorial Parkway south of Interstate 70 in St. Peters will be closed Monday, June 24, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) and its contractor, Millstone Bangert. The lane closure on the parkway, also known as the south service road. will begin at 9 a.m. and last for approximately three months. The left lane will be closed from Mid Rivers Mall Drive to the entrance ramp to eastbound I-70. The current double right turn lanes exiting Mid Rivers Mall to eastbound Veterans Memorial Parkway will be reduced to only one right turn lane. The work is part of a project to construct a diverging diamond interchange (DDI). The project also includes the construction of an additional westbound I-70 lane between Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Highway 79. MoDOT logo
