The Kiwanis Club of Wright City will hold their Chartering Ceremony on June 4th at 6:00pm at Sun Rise United Methodist Church, 70 Bell Road, Wright City. This event celebrates the beginning of this new club. Cheryl Anderson, Kiwanis Missouri-Arkansas District Governor, will be on hand to welcome the members and present them with pins, certificates and gifts from Kiwanis International. There will also be visiting Kiwanis members from neighboring clubs plus family, friends, dignitaries and neighbors from Wright City and surrounding areas..Membership in this new Kiwanis Club has already grown to twenty-five members and the group are anticipating more members coming on board before the Chartering Ceremony. "The members of this Kiwanis Club are in the process of exploring ways that they can make a difference in the lives of children and in the Wright City community" says Martha Radginski, Kiwanis Division Lt. Governor.Kiwanis Club meetings are held the first and third Wednesdays at Noon - Ruiz Castillo Mexican Restaurant. Kids need Kiwanis and the Wright City Kiwanis Club plans to bring service leadership programs to area youth. Visitors are always welcome to attend Kiwanis meetings.
