A kindergarten parent information night will be held for families of students attending kindergarten during the 2016-17 school year.The meetings will be held at each of the three elementary schools Thursday, Jan. 21, beginning at 6 p.m.School staff will provide information regarding registration, health records and screening details. All children of kindergarten age who live within the Warren County R-III School District should enroll. Current Missouri law requires a child to be 5 years of age before Aug. 1, 2016, to be enrolled in a public school kindergarten.Parents enrolling their children must have proof of residence (tax bill, electric bill, water bill, mortgage statement, lease agreement, etc.), identification, their child’s Social Security number, birth certificate and immunization record. A child’s immunization record will be reviewed and parents will be informed if the record is complete or if the child is in need of any vaccinations.For further information concerning immunizations please call Nurse Laurie at 636-456-5802, extension 4379.School staff is available to answer any questions parents may have concerning the screening or registration process by simply calling any one of the elementary schools: Daniel Boone Elementary, 636-456-6905; Warrior Ridge Elementary, 636-456-6906; or Rebecca Boone Elementary, 636-456-6904.Kindergarten Information Nights
