A 22-year-old Warrenton man was arrested twice within a week after entering a woman’s home several times without permission, accessing her communication devices and kidnapping her, police say.Demetry A. Wheeler allegedly entered the victim’s home on Morgan Trail Court in Warrenton around 2:20 a.m. June 4, according to the Warrenton Police Department. The victim had been granted a protection order against Wheeler several days prior.Wheeler allegedly used the victim’s laptop to send her messages while she wasn’t home, then left. He returned the same night after the victim came home and reportedly took her phone from the bathroom while she showered, so that he could see who she was talking to, according to police.A witness called 911 when she saw Wheeler in the home. He was arrested, and the victim’s phone and a key to her house were found in his possession, police said. Wheeler was taken to jail and later released on a $25,000 bond June 7.The same night he was released, police received a 911 call and witnesses said Wheeler had returned and abducted the victim. When police arrived on the scene, they heard a female yelling for help and saw Wheeler carrying the woman away.After a short chase, Wheeler dropped the victim and was caught by police.The woman told police she found Wheeler inside her home, and that he assaulted her and dragged her out of the house. Wheeler admitted to striking the victim, police said.Wheeler is charged with first-degree kidnapping, two counts of first-degree burglary and third-degree domestic assault, as well as violation of a protection order. The most severe charge, kidnapping, is a Class A felony that carries a sentence of 10 to 30 years or life in prison if convicted. The burglary charges could add up to 15 years each.Wheeler is now being held in jail on a $250,000 cash-only bond. He had an arraignment scheduled June 14.Demetry Wheeler
