A Kentucky man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday, June 22, on Interstate 70 near the Warren-Montgomery County line, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.Joseph C. Wiechert, 55, Cox’s Creek, Ky., was pronounced dead at 1:10 p.m. at the scene of the crash by Dave Colbert, Montgomery County coroner, the highway patrol stated.Wiechert was taken to Pitman Funeral Home, Jonesburg.Alyssa A. Crawford, 19, St. Charles, was traveling west in a 1997 Toyota Camry when she lost control of the vehicle.The Toyota traveled through the median, overturned and struck an eastbound 2012 Suzuki motorcycle being driven by Wiechert.Crawford sustained minor injuries in the incident.She was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital West, Lake St. Louis.The crash occurred at noon at the 186-mile marker along eastbound I-70.Highway Patrol patch
