Kenneth B. Engemann

Mr. Kenneth Bernard Engemann of Marthasville, MO, passed away peacefully, with family by his side, Monday, October 11, 2021.  He was born December 15, 1947 in Washington, MO, to Benjamin and Regina (Nee: Weber) Engemann.  He had reached the age of 73 years.
 
Kenneth has been with his soul mate and the love of his life, Ruth Marschel for nearly 40 years.  He was a self-employed entrepreneur his entire life.  He was a farmer, trucker, excavator and also raised cattle amongst other things.  He loved his work as much as he loved fishing.  Kenneth was a member of the American Legion Post 180 from Marthasville for many years.  He also loved his labrador Sammy.  He loved his family and looked forward to spending time together.
 
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Regina;  brother in law, William Hepperman.  He is survived by his soul mate, Ruth Marschel; children, Kevin Engemann, Lavon Lamke and husband Lester, Michael Engemann, Kenneth "Fred" Engemann Jr. and wife Sheena Norman; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lee Heppermann, Norbert "Crocky" Engemann and wife Joan; nieces, nephews and many other friends and family.
 
We will Celebrate the Life of Kenneth Bernard Engemann, Thursday, October 14, 2021, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Marthasville.  Funeral mass will be held the following day, October 15, 2021, 10:00 AM at St Ignatious Catholic Church in Marthasville, MO.  Interment at the church cemetery will follow the mass on Friday.  Memorial donations are preferred to The Animal Welfare Association of Warren County, Wounded Warriors or St Ignatius School, c/o Martin Funeral Home, 510 East Main St. Warrenton, MO. 63383.  Online condolences may be made at www.martinfuneral.net​
