One person is dead after a pickup truck drove off Interstate 70 and overturned Wednesday night between Warrenton and Wright City.Austin R. Wiebe, a 37-year-old man from WaKeeney, Kan., was a passenger in the Dodge Ram 1500, which crashed at 8:28 p.m. while traveling westbound at the 196 mile marker, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol preliminary report.The driver of the truck, 44-year-old Shannon J. Meyer of De Pere, Wis., reportedly lost control of the vehicle before it travelled off the right side of the interstate and overturned. Wiebe was pronounced dead at the scene by Warren County paramedics.Meyer had minor injuries. Both men were wearing seat belts.Meyer was taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis for treatment, before being arrested by the patrol on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, causing the death of another. He was later released. Criminal charges have not been filed as of this writing.Fatal accident
