Warrenton runners Phillip Kackley and Wyatt Claiborne led Warrenton, placing in the top-20 at the Ft. Zumwalt North Invite.
Kackley finished in 16th place in the first event of the season for the Warriors. He finished the race in 18:04.8. Claiborne placed 20th, finishing less than 12 seconds behind Kackley. Claiborne finished the race in 18:16.2. Charles Bowles, Coalton Hill and Zachariah Bristol also competed for the Warriors and placed between 59th and 65th. Bowles finished the race in 20:32.1. Hill and Bristol both finished the race in over 21 minutes. Hill finished the race in 21:12.3. Bristol finished the race in 21:25.5.
Two Lady Warrior runners competed at the varsity level at the Ft. Zumwalt North Invite. Madelyn Marschel placed 21st in the varsity girls competition. She finished the race in 22:30.2. Briana Grooms placed 45th. She finished the race in 27:11.3.
Warrenton was scheduled to compete at the Fleet Feet competition today.
